Account Manager Canada

Missions essentielles

The Canadian Manager is responsible for representing Boortmalt and the Prairie Malt brand, as well as our global portfolio of imported malt brands across their defined territory of Canada

- Secure contracts including LTA’s with new and existing customers while adhering to fluctuating barley prices and preserving appropriate margins.

- Travel throughout the region to meet with current and prospective customers to secure new business and attend and/or exhibit at local and national trade shows and networking events.

-Develop and execute an annual business plan for the region, including key account targets, a travel itinerary and routinely coordinate with the NAM Key Account Manager to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

- Support the NAM KAM with Japanese customer accounts

- Facilitate and host customer site visits and audits

-Coordinate regularly with supply chain team to ensure that malt stocks are appropriately stocked (and located) to meet customer demand.

-Regularly utilize CRM for tracking opportunities and maintaining an updated book of existing customers and prospective accounts.

-Strategize with the Commercial team within the region and the global business on methods to gain market share.

-Support the regional Commercial team by assuming other ancillary, ad-hoc Commercial, Strategic and/or Marketing responsibilities as necessitated by the prevailing market and business conditions.

-Perform other duties as assigned.

Profil / Compétences requises

University degree and/or related industry experience

3-5 years experience in sales and/or in the malting industry

Fluent in English

Competency in MS Office suite and general comfort and proficiency with computers/software
