As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining uninterrupted production by ensuring the performance and reliability of all electrical and mechanical systems. You will lead a team of maintenance electricians and mechanical fitters, manage contractors, and champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Reliability
- Ensure continuous production by maintaining the reliability of all electrical and mechanical systems across the malting facility.
- Identify proactive maintenance needs to prevent functional failures, including developing, reviewing, and improving maintenance job plans for all assets.
- Review repetitive failures (“bad actors”), participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Team Leadership
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of two maintenance electricians and three mechanical fitters.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
- Promote adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental procedures and policies in all maintenance tasks.
Maintenance Planning & Execution
- Ensure the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program is executed on schedule, with accurate history, documentation, and cost tracking.
- Maintain appropriate levels of critical spares, components, and consumables to support uninterrupted operations.
- Manage maintenance contractors and service providers, ensuring work quality, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities support plant Food Safety, HACCP, Quality, and Continuous Improvement systems, including compliance with FSSC 22000 and related standards.
- Support audits and inspections by maintaining accurate records and demonstrating robust maintenance practices.
