Missions essentielles

Boortmalt is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant operations through expert mechanical maintenance and engineering support. This role involves executing planned and unplanned maintenance, optimizing equipment performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage mechanical maintenance activities across plant installations.
  • Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Develop and optimize maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Boortmalt’s safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Support documentation, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Apply reliability engineering tools such as CBM and RCFA.
  • Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and mechanical repairs.
  • Supervise contractors and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Contribute to predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Communicate effectively during shift exchanges and team interactions.

Profil / Compétences requises

  • BSc degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry within a technical function or similar work history as maintenance technician.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and modification works under deadline.
  • Being flexible, willing to learn, ready to work under pressure, aiming to improve effectivity, working in teams, respect others, good at listening.
  • Fluent English.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office – especially Excel.
  • Able to work with CAD software (AutoCAD/SOLIDWORKS/NAVISWORKS, etc.) is a plus.
