Operations Assistant

Missions essentielles

As Operations Assistant you play a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of a business’s day-to-day activities.
You provide administrative support to Management of the plant and provide backup/assistance to Plant Manager & Warehouse Supervisor.

Administration & reporting

  • Collect production Samples, Shipping Paperwork & Unload Log
  • Prepare working schedules for the operators on a daily basis
  • Create Service Sheets for Vendor Invoices
  • Input of technical/Capital related purchase orders
  • Enter in New Vendors in SAP
  • Order Warehouse & Office Supplies
  • Provide Plant Manager with Monthly Bulk & Railcar Loading Lbs. (what was shipped)

 

Operational related follow-up

  • Follow up the daily production orders during process and check if they are applied correctly
  • Follow up and manage the training schedules
  • Create PO's for Plant operations
  • Send Pick Lists for new orders To 3PL's
  • Collect Samples, Shipping Paperwork & Unload Log
  • Reconcile all malt receipts for Bulk & Wagons In MaPPS
  • Enter orders into PAD & MaPPS
  • Print and assemble next day's loading schedule, BOL's, blend cards & sample shipment log, once all are complete.
  • Request sample analysis in MaPPS, print sample labels, label samples and ship samples.
  • Post Goods Issue Delivered Office/Warehouse Supplies so Vendors are paid

 

Continuous improvement

  • Complete written working procedures
  • Support 3rd Party Audits

Profil / Compétences requises

  • Bachlor's or Associate's degree, or equivalent by experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in related administrative duties
  • MS Office suite competency
  • SAP experience
