We’re hiring a Journeyperson Plumber to join our team in Biggar, Saskatchewan. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrives in an environment where safety, teamwork, and problem‑solving are part of everyday life.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, valves, pumps, and related equipment throughout the facility.
  • Troubleshooting issues and identifying long‑term, reliable solutions.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of water, steam, and drainage systems.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with other trades, operators, and maintenance staff to support smooth plant operations.
  • Maintaining accurate service and repair records and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Profil / Compétences requises

  • Journeyman Plumber certification (Saskatchewan or Red Seal).
  • Journeyman’s papers are required and will be validated early in the recruitment process.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada on a non‑temporary basis.
  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to complete food safety training as part of onboarding.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer proficiency, including entering and retrieving data in maintenance systems.
  • A strong track record of high safety performance and reliable attendance.
  • Willingness to work 8‑hour shifts and be available for periodic non‑scheduled call‑ins.

Physical & Safety Requirements

  • Ability to work a physical job in indoor, outdoor, dusty, or humid environments.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders, and work in elevated areas of the plant.
  • Near, far, depth, and colour vision required for safe and accurate work.
  • Comfortable walking or standing on indoor surfaces for extended periods.
  • Required to wear hearing and respiratory protection, including ear plugs, dust masks, and respirators.
  • Additional PPE such as hard hats, gloves, and protective clothing will be required depending on the task.
