Missions essentielles

Boortmalt is looking for a Production Manager located in Villaverde.  Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in industrial operations, people development and continuous improvement ?  At Boortmalt we don’t just produce malt, we power the brewing and distilling industries worldwide.  Are you the one who can lead safe, efficient and high-quality malt production while inspiring teams and driving operation excellence ?  We love to meet you !

Your impact ?

As Production Manager, you will be fully accountable for delivering malt that meets customer specifications, budget targets and the highest safety and food safety standards

You will oversee :

  • Malt Production : blending, storage, barley preparation, yield and energy performance
  • Barley Reception & Customer Shipments : stock management, production scheduling, customer planning
  • People leadership : Develop supervisors and operators, drive engagement and training plans
  • F&SHE leadership : Act as Safety & HACCP champion, role model best practice, ensure compliance
  • Continuous improvement : drive performance in yield, energy, overall cost, reliability excellence and operational KPI’s
  • Lead Silo & Malt house operations, Housekeeping, Safety & Food Safety programs, weekend production

Profile we are looking for

  • Bachelor in Food Engineering, Bio-Chemical/Chemical Engineering, Agronomical / Agricultural Science, Industrial Engineering, Malting/Brewing or equivalent related field
  • 3 years of experience
  • Fluent in Spanish & English (speak, read and write)
  • Office 365
